M14 mag latch problem

The pin that the latch pivots on keeps sliding to the side and popping out. This leads to a rough mag change.

Solution is to take a knife and push it back in.

Anyone else having this problem with there TM M14?

you could also hammer the end of the pin when it is out of the gun to slightly deform it. Locks in place no problem. Rember to very gentle, you could even get a set of pliers and squeese it to rough the exterior of the pin.
