CA Metal Mount Base on DTP Metal Body

I recently purchased a CA metal mount base for AKs and I have no idea on how to mount it on my DTP metal body. I did not do my research, and I will pay for this (I'm meeting up with Greylocks on Saturday).

Does anyone have any idea how to mount it? I just need some advice.

Thanks,

Cricket

And that's why I'll pay dearly. I'm expecting my pride and my bank account to take a hit.

This is the AK Scope mount base we are talking about here, right?

If yes, I think you need to drill holes on the metal body in order to secure the mount base.

Yes, it is the AK scope mount. So can I drill just anywhere or are there areas that I shouldn't poke?

On the metal body, there should revit like marking, that's where the the mount should go.

You should google up a AK Scope Mount Base installation, that would give you a much better idea on where to drill, etc.

Just bring it with you to Local Heros on Saturday and let Greylocks or Stalker install it.

OMFG!?!??! Where are all the chairsofters that lie in wait like vultures searching for noobs that don't search? My God, they are gonna get madder than a skinhead watching the Jeffersons seeing this thread go unflamed!!!!!

Anyways, flamers fuck off........... cuz I said so. I told him to post his question here. So.............. I can't offer advice, nor can I bring a pile of tools to Local Heros tomorrow night (the place will be filled with useless tools anyways). Greylocks will most likely be your man (but he DOES have a g/f, so don't flirt with him too much while there.)

Well, odder things have happened in "resto-bars" you know when airsofters get together!

Hehe, anyways, I held an AK once, so I guess that would make me an expert on the type, especially considering I am an airsofter and sitting on a chair as I type this.
