CA M24 question

I just recently bought A CA M24 used. and im having a bit of a problem with it, it seems like the magazine isnt going all the way in or something, to the point where its not loading a bb into the chamber. if I push on the mag while cocking the gun then it works fine. but this is very annoying.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to load the magazine with the bolt open. (ie; pulled back) You'll notice that the bolt won't close (ie: move forward) all the way when you run out of BB's too so don't force it.

The design of the mag has the inner spring (the one that holds the cover up) presses down. Mine does it too. Go to Canadian Tire or a camping place, buy a roll of the black velcro used to roll sleeping bags. It's 95% loop velcro, and 5% hook side. Wrap it around where the mag is inside the gun, make it tight enough to press it up, but loose enough to slide it forward when you are reloading. Works perfectly.

No prob, trust me it works, and doesn't look all that bad. Besides, it's a further guarantee that:

1/ You mags will feed 100%;

2/ If you have any issues with your mag latch, you won't lose your mag while playing.

Hey, cheap fixes are often the best fixes if thought out properly!

Side note, can be related to #2 above, my original mag for my KJW M700 was inserted/removed so many times that it eventually fell out each time I pushed the bolt forward to load a BB. If your mag catch goes on your CA M24, the same thing can happen.
