Questions About a Tokyo Marui M14 DMR Setup

I am going to get a TM M14 and make it into a DMR. I plan on having the rifle at around 400-450 with .25's. I'd like some feedback about my setup either suggestions, or if you think a part should be replaced with another brand or something else that I should get.

Here is my setup:
- PDI 170% or 190% Spring
- Prometheus Spring Guide
- Prometheus Hard Hop-Up Packing
- Guarder Enhanced Tappet
- Prometheus EG Hard Gear Set Double Torque
- Guarder Cylinder Enhancement Set, Comes with:
- Stainless Cylinderhead
- Air Seal Nozzle
- Polycarbonate Ventilation Piston Head
- Super Lucid Chromium Plating Cylinder
- Polycarbonate Piston
- Guarder Air Nozzle
- PDI 500mm 6.05mm EG Barrel
- G&P Tactical Scope Mount
- G&P Military Aimpoint Replica
- G&P Military Z Type Red Dot Sight Mount

I also need to get (1) Bushings (2) Shim Set. What type or brand of each should I get?

I also plan on running a 10.8v battery in the stock specifically this one: http://www.onlybatterypacks.com/show...temID=10813.27. I'm not sure if it will fit though, can anyone confirm that it will fit, or will I have to hollow out the stock a little?

Also I saw the Prometheus Hard Reversal Stop Latch, but I'm not sure what it does, does anyone know?

Finally, I plan on getting the Guarder Steel Cutoff lever when it comes out.

So, if anyone has any suggestions or feedback for this setup I'm open to any and encourage feedback.

10.8v will end your internals rather fast. You'll run the gun fine on a 3000mah 8.4v or 3000mah 9.6v

If your in Canada, for the most part, our fps runs at 400fps max with .20g.

Go with the Prometheus springs instead of the PDI. Same with the tightbore, grab the Prometheus 6.03mm instead.
go with regular ratio or single torque gears. No need for the double torque.

it looks like you have a ridiculously overkill wishlist for this gun. Dont forget, TM internals are excellent. the more you put in, the less reliable its gonna run. If its running smooth out of the box, only change what you need to. We all see people who come in, toss in a shitload of after market parts and have their gun brake down everyday.

fill out your profile, including age and location. It can help us answer questions better(fps limits different in different places, etc)

I believe the biggest batteries that will fit in the m14 are 8.4vs. If you want bigger, you will either have to gut the stock, or by a Li-Poly battery.
I love my M14 DMR, I think I'll stick with it till the end of my playing days.
As for the parts, just buy a Guarder SP120 FTK, it comes with all the parts you will need, except the tightbore.

Where can I find Li-Poly batteries for airsoft use?

Does anyone have some pictures of their M14 DMR, I like the real steel but am curious to see the airsoft replica?

LiPo's are about $85 from Kos-Mos on the forums for a 7.4v 2000Mah that will
bascially compare to a 9.6v 3000mah. Now as for charging them you do and will
need a special charger (Roughly 100-200$) and a Balancer to equally charge the
battery (Astroflight Blinky $35US) and I suggest a Liposack for charging the
battery in as it will keep you from blowing up your room or starting a huge fire
incase the battery charges wrong. Also this battery will charge in a few hours
but will last about 3 days lol.
