Systema Question
Hello,
Jason Parker of Action Sportz in IL. I just recently decided to get into selling airsoft equipment. My newbie question is on the Systema M4-A1 MAX. The average FPS the marker fires is 460-500 fps. To play legally I would need to get it down to about 300fps. How would this be done with a Systema marker? Do I only need to purchase a lighter spring, like the m100, or do I need to replace the whole cylinder and spring? Also, if I only need to buy a new spring, if the marker still shoots over 300fps, can I cut a little piece off the spring to lower the fps? Thanks Jason |

You sell (retail) them and dont know how to maintain them? How will you support your clientele?
Your laws are different than ours, I suggest you do some of that very important research first before asking us what we think you should do to match what is allowed in your country. |

You should talk to Wallace Lau at Z-Shot. They are you're Systema distributor in the U.S. and they can help you with the technical info.
FYI, you only need the M90 cylinder kit and a 7.2 volt battery. This will give you about 330 fps and the rate of fire will be in the correct range of 850 r/min. You cannot simply change the main spring in the M150 cylinder kit. You would also need to change the nozzle and head spring as well. It would be easier to just buy the pre-built M90 kit than to try to get the M150 apart.

Greylocks did you even read my question? No need to be a dick. I'm not asking about laws, I'm asking how it's done.

Yes I read your question, and I am still amazed that you went to another country with totally different laws to ask instead of going straight to resources in your own land.
Why do you expect us to know your laws and rules about power? Why did you not check out this information before becoming a retailer? This makes no sense to me that you would know nothing about a product you wish to retail. Better to face my questions than to encounter an angry customer. If this is the way you deal with questions and prepare yourself, good luck in the business world. |

dude hes asking how to downgrade a systema.... All you said have nothing to do with the thread. He already knows the law in his country thats why hes asking how to downgrade his gun.... it is just a technical information and as far as I know, it is not illegal to ask questions on this forum.
Seriously, take a brake, its fuckin annoying. Parker: Heres a video made by Solo_dallas from ITALY, it shows how easy it is to change the full cylinder kit and its very informative... http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=16741 Last edited by flack; November 22nd, 2006 at 12:56.. |
