AEP battery question

Does anyone know if the TM 7.2v 500mAh EX batteries work and/or fit in the TM G18C or TM M93R AEPs? Thanks.

im very skeptical..seems offly strong..500mAh. I own a TM Glock 18c AEP and my battery says 7.2V 200mAh. We'll see what others have to say.

No, the pistol AEP batteries are thinner than the MP7 one.

Speaking of AEP batteries, I highly recommend you look at the spare batteries made by CYMA. Unlike TM which is still stuck in the stone age of cell chemistry, the CYMA batteries are using 450 mAh NiMH cells which gives you more than double the capacity of your stock battery, and likely a higher discharge rate (read: slightly higher ROF) to boot. I can't wait until they come out with their MP7 copy, the batteries will probably break the 750 mAh mark. Any extra on these little things helps.

U.S. retailers ought to have spare CYMA batteries in stock.

But what kind of charger are you gonna use? I have a G18c, the wall charger that comes with the gun doens't charge NiMH and a normal charger doesn't have the attachments to charge it.

You ought not to use the wall charger as it has been proven to significantly overcharge your batteries. It is intended for use with 100V Japanese service, not 110-120V North American. You should perform the recommended modification of lopping off the wall wart transformer and connecting the leads to a real charger that can do the job properly. You'll have no problems then.

Oh, so I just gotta use the TM charger as a lead to my normal charger. Are the wires inside color coded?

They're not, but you can use a multitester to determine polarity and then put a piece of tape around one wire to remind yourself or affix an appropriate connector. Good battery chargers will detect reverse polarity themselves allowing you to switch the leads if you got it backwards.
