Gas Shotguns
I've been looking at a couple of the gas shotguns out there recently and I noticed the 'revision' version of the Maruzen M1100. Aparently, it no longer eats its own insides through regular use, and can use green/propane as well.
The problem is that the rails are plastic and the improved internals are apparently only available in the shorter 'defender' sized version. Does anyone know if there are any plans in the works to make a fullsized M1100 revision? Is it possible to just sub the internals from the revision into an older full sized one? I'm not sure how long a mere 4+1 shells will last with a semi-auto shotgun.

well, plastic rails are easily remedied with metal ones, although the seperate purchase might turn you off. i haven't heard any news on a fullsized, but one can always hope.
i suppose (don't take my word for this) that if the revised internals are basically the old ones but better (hence, "revised") then you could put them in an older full sized???

let hojo at ASCA know your looking for one. Now and then they appear, but for a very short time. If your looking, keep a good +$600 ready to spend at a moments notice...they go REALLY fast.
