Oil is the first attempt to fixing most M11 problems.

Ya, what Stalker said, but try cleaning then lubing ... in that order.

Doh, I knew I missed a step!
Danny, GBBs require somewhat regular maintainance to work at 100%, and good silicon oil (RC Shock oil from hobby shops) is a key element in that maintainance. Where a regular GBB may need relubing every 20 mags or so through it (just picked a number), the KSC M11 requires it about every 8-10 mags. Pretty much just because the bolt is in partial contact on 4 sides, buit the slide on any other GBB is in partial contact on one. Fair number of other threads on trouble shooting the M11 that you might look around for and read, just to get an idea of other problems and fixes regarding that gun. Good luck! |

WARNING! I once too thought that lube solved everything with problematic M11s. This is not the case.
KSC rubber is notorious for absorbing silicone oil. When it does this it swells which jams moving parts, and the M11 has several critical pieces of rubber in the gas system. Lubrication can actually make the problem worse. Also the hop rubber can absorb oil and swell, making the BB very difficult for the bolt to push through. I've tried boiling the rubber to remove the oil but that only seems to take out so much. Lube sparingly and carefully. Oil's supposed to be a GBB's best friend; in KSC's case I believe it may turn out to be its worst enemy. Just my $0.02 going from experience. :banghead: |

Thanks W.K., I've well documented that over numerous posts. You are correct though, I just didn't feel the need to outline EVERYTHING regarding the M11 in this thread . M11 mag rubber soaks up oil, swells and rips. Even the hop up sleeve/breech does too. Just a matter of putting oil in the right places and avoiding others.
Want odd though? I've only found the rubber used in M11 parts to have this problem, neither of my KSC G19s or my 4 mags has even come close to this, nor any of the G18's my teammates have (at least 5 of them have one and numerous mags) or the KSC Mk23 Socom or the USP. Seems only the M11s that have this problem, of which there are 3 on our team. Odd isn't it? |

If there is a gas leak it will cause it to have shooting problems
