Tm M14

i recantly bought a tm m14. It is upgraded with a 170% pdi spring and metal bushings, brand new piston, and reenforced gears. When i turn the fire select switch to semi auto it is still firing in full auto? Since i have never opened up an m14 before i was a little weary to do so. I got a friends help and he opend her up no problem. Looking at the gun the only visible cause is two springs right by the selector, are a little over streched. now my question is due to recent events in bc where can i go to get this fixed? or does anyone know where i can get the parts and info on how to change the springs myself?

OR if anyone eles has had this problem and knows its somthing eles. What is it and how do i fix it?

All you had to say was that your parents bought them, and allow you to use them under supervision. That is cool.

Since you've been here since 2005, you should know that this issue is a problem with kids who dont play safely. That's why I asked.

1. Your parents are obviously not fit to raise children
2. Your "club" is a detriment to the sport
3. The part that controls semi/auto is the cutoff lever, flip the mechbox over on it's right side, and under the "armour plating" there will be a silver "l" shaped piece. Remove it and check for wear on the tip that enters the mechbox.

1. My parents are very fit to raise children. the only reason i said what i said so rudly is i do not post much because of assholes like yourself. Who think every one who is under 18 is a complete retard and walks around at night with aegs and gbbs.

2. AK is not a detriment to the sport. Its a very well respected club and a place that will actually help people insted of beeing complete dicks like everyone here on asc.

3. thank you there is plenty of wear on the "l" shaped piece

Touche newby,

then this is your solution. Contact a user on these boards by the name of "JAFA", he is a helpful fellow in Japan who has direct access to TM replacement parts.

What you need is a "M14 cutoff lever", just ask him for the same part as he supplied me and you'll get it. The part including shipping for me was $13US.
