It's not just him.
Everyone who was raided was directly tied to him. Read again what I said about which act the CBSA can enforce. If it were anything beyond an importation issue it would've been handled by a different agency.

My guess? They're the ones who ordered X amount of guns from Kang and CBSA went there to take them away. The ones who didn't receive anything in this latest (seized) shipment have not been raided, they've just closed up preemptively. Customs isn't shutting down retailers, they're seizing the guns Kang sent them.

That's my take on the situation.

We pride ourselves on being law-abiding, responsible airsofters, but how conveniently we forget and forgive someone when it suits our purposes. You can't have your cake and eat it too folks.

Close but not actually right !

The AEG never reach our store !

The shippement came to XP and few hours after the reception of the order, the CSBA came in and took everything ! So the many store who were waiting for their order from xp, will not receive anything ! So this is why many store are closing down as we speak.

I'm one of them !

Christ almighty fellas calm down already. If you break the law, and the law comes knocking, then you have noone to blame but yourself. Airsoft is not over in Canada.

Remember one thing, where there is a will, there is a way ... just do it legally.

Wow... so I guess this is the end of the world then? Maybe I'll just move to the States. Probably easier.

your take on the situation is nothing more then rumors. Kang has been getting us(maby not you, but the rest of us) guns reliably for years. Not only is he one of the people who helped bring airsoft in Canada, but he kept it going when the going got tough, long before you or I were doing this. The details around whats happened with Kang over the past year is jumbled and not concrete.

Get off your flame-train.

Flame on. Peter kang is the owner of www.air-soft.com and was followed by a lot of controversy due to his buisness preactices. Ken owns 007

Peter helped bring Airsoft to Canada when we were still riding tricycles and learning the alphabet. Yes, he has F*CKED himself and his business a few times, but like Droc said, he really did pull things through when the going got tough.

Let's hope for the best.

If the retailers don't have their DFAIT forms filled out correctly for restricted fire arms, they are in violation of the law.

If all the propper channels are followed, no one will have any problems, so the CFO tells me.

The DFAIT forms are the key... if anybody can tell me if any of the seized shipments had their DFAIT forms filled out correctly, that would fill in a big gap. Because if they were, then it's time to panic. If they weren't, no need to panic, it'll just force people to do things correctly.

Is Randy over at Double Edge involved in this too?

Get off your flame-train.
I get my information from a reliable source that I trust because they just happen to BE an importer themselves. What I know are more than rumors. Educated speculation at worst, but certainly not rumors.

I don't think he was talking to you Gryphon, he was talking to the guy who thought Ken was Kang.
