If it hits the soft parts on the side of your head, it will probably puncture your skin their. I don't think they play with 900fps, PASGT replica helmets can only resist 500fps, but in Japan they play with around 450-500fps (not sure though, I read about it though).

In Japan, they typically play at less than 1 Joule, which is less than 330fps with 0.20g BBs.

In Hong Kong, there was a time when they tended to shoot much hotter, but have since calmed down.

There is a reason we play at under 400 fps, if there wasn't a rule like this there would be some serious injuries and some ass would show up using ammo like this.

are you actually suggesting that someone is going to use .50 AE in an airsoft game? with an airsoft gun? :smack:

and somehow, FPS limits prevent this...? :smack:

WOW.....I'll break it down for you.

If there are no field limits (am I typing slow enough?).......
then people will be upgrading to crazy FPS with no regard for others safety.

Also look at the link again, it shows muzzel velocity in FPS, if you still don't get it, that's your problem.

Bahh, using .50AE in an airsoft gun, did you really think that's what I was insinuating?
