Version 3 gearbox for TM guns fit all types?
Hi,
I have a TM G36C and I am looking to buy a complete V3 gearbox from an AK47S. Aside from being wired in the back instead of the front for the G36C is everything else the same??? I'm not sure just cause of the difference in motors (EG700 for AK VS EG1000 for G) I would like to make sure before I buy that it can fit. Thanks in advance for your help! :salute:

Nozzle is different as well as the selector plate. Cylinder may be different as well, but I have to see it to tell you for sure. It won't fit at all without you changing the selector, nozzle and rewiring the gun. Parts alone will cost you proably $50, and that's if you can find a G36 selector. Then you'd need to do a complete teardown or the mechbox to even chage those parts.
As you've asked this question, you don't know your way around a mechbox and I wouldn't try learning on a ver 3 if I were you. They have a few tricks in store for you.

trigger, nozzle, selector plate, tappet plate, selector hardware and wireing will all be different
shell, motor, motor cage and most of the internals will be the same. Finding the selector hardware will be the hardest thing

Ok, similar question, am I correct in assuming all version 3 gearbox shells are interchangable?
The reason I'm asking is I have a player with an AUG with a cracked box, right around the cylinder head. Most of the HK shops I've looked at list whatever V3 gearbox shell they sell as fitting G36, AK and SIG, but mysteriously leave the AUG off the list. Is it just that AUG's are kind rare or do they need a different V3 gearbox?
