m120 spring..
Hi, Will a systema high speed motor be capable of handling an m120 spring? My goal is too get high Rof, but at the expense of my gun so if there are any better suggestions please feel free to list them in this thread.

If you want a high rate of fire, dont put a heavy spring in the gun.

a stock TM motor with an m120 handles super fast high speed gears...not the smartest idea, as it puts alot of stress on the parts, and pushes 400 fps. You new to airsoft? If so i wouldnt recommend upgrading your gun, especially if you dotn know how well it shoots stock. Thats all somebody needs is a mouth full of 400 fps bb's.

I am not new too airsoft.... Been playing since i was twelve call it stupid but anything goes in the U.S.A. I'll probubly get a systema genuine i heard they are good, but people have also recomended the hummer 1300l by eagle force if you have any comments on that then it would be very helpful
Oh... i have two guns one is stock and the other has an m100 so i'm convinced i should try upgrading to high levels, i meen hey everyone has too do it once Thanks for your input! |

As for upgrading your gun m110 with proper gears(dont know what they would be) and a 9.4 v rated moter and a bigger battery (9.4 v with 3k or more milliamps). that's the best rig you need. Unless your going sniper you shouldn't even approach 400 fps. Unless your a sniper. btw i am leaving out support upgrades for all this. |

ok, well i told you what would happen, so when you strip a piston, break a mechbox or whatever dont come back and complain.
Shadow, you could get a standard set of reinforced gears, or even high torque gears. |

I was figuring leave the more technical babel to the others. The ones whom actually know what there talking about when it comes to what ya need to get what out of it. Just simply stating no need to be amping a gun to an m120. |

Part man, part machine

I would not mix high speed gears with a 400fps spring because they aren't built to last under that king of torque, and will cost you $$$ before long. You're better off keeping the gears stock, replace them when they blow, and run a higher voltage battery to your ROF content. |
