New to AirSoft
Hi. I'm relatively new to airsoft. I recently bought the TM Desert Eagle .50 Hard Kick GBB, and I'd like to start becoming more active in my local airsoft scene.
What I'm looking for is any reccomended first upgrades for the TM Deagle (springs, upgrading to full-metal, etc), and also any reccomendations for my first AEG. I like the look/feel of the MP5 (I've been looking at the TM MP5-J) and the M4 (TM M4 S-System). Any reasons why these two wouldn't be decent starter guns? Thanks in advance for the feedback! |

The J is probably a very good starter. MP5's are very comfortable guns to use, you can fit a medium sized battery in the foregrip, and the mags are compatible with alot of different gear (as well as your pockets! if you're lazy/cheap)
If you're using propane in your Desert Eagle, you may want to consider upgrading the recoil springs to absorb more of the increased kick. Metal kits are not too common for Desert Eagles, and performance wise do not really change much, they are mostly cosmetic. Careful using it in CQB, as they clock in around 350fps on propane. |
