TM Hi-CAPA 4.3 BB roll out. - FIXED!
Hey,
I was just firing my TM Hi-CAPA 4.3 and every other shot a BB rolls out of the barrel and the gun blank fires. What is going on? I tried adjusting the hop-up and I'm still having a problem... Hmm... What could it be? -Identity. |

It moves around springy and it is still intact. Could there be something wrong with the hop-up?
The gun is fairly new too! So I dont know why it's having problems. |

If you take a look at that picture. The front end of the muzzle. There is a circular entrace and a small rectanguler piece sticking out. 1- That rectangular piece is prone to breaking off. This will cause miss feeds and other irregular bb actions. 2- that circular entrace must remain in its original shape or further failures may occur. |

Heres my barrel looks like right now,

There is such a thing as to much silicon oil in a gas blowback. The loaded round will get pretty well coated in it and can slip past the hop up and roll out of the barrel.
I had the same problem myself with my Hi-Capa. Just take the cleaning tool that comes with your gun and remove any excess oil from the barrel. Then use a q-tip to clean excess oil from the hop up rubber and loading nozzle. You may have to do this a few times, firing the gun will blast more oil out of the blowback chamber into the loading nozzle, hop up, and barrel. Just take a few shots and see if the problem continues and if so clean it again until it stops. I hope this fixes the problem. If not I have no idea what it could be. |

Nope. The gun still rolls out bb's every other rolls out.
Cleaned it out well and it still happens... |

You are not adding any lube to the mag when trying to fix it are you? It only needs to be added about once every 8 mags.
Also check the rounds after you fire them and see if they have an oily film on them, you may have to perform the cleaning a number of times. You can also try setting the hop up a bit higher. If that’s not the problem I would suggest taking your hop up rubber out and cleaning it with a bit of soap and water, then making sure all the pieces are in the proper place when you reinstall it. I am fairly certain the lube is your problem as I went through the exact same thing less then a week ago. I really hope this helps and you can get it working again. Gas blowbacks are expensive and I know how frustrating it can be when they don't work. |

Is the hop-up rubber the BIG round rubber that wraps/inside the barrel where the bb loads into? Cause if thats the hopup, the bb just slides right through it. The hop up is a large single piece of soft rubber that wraps around the inner barrel. The hop up is created by a small metal bump that pushes down on the rubber and creates a small dent that hold the bb in place, as well as creates the back spin. When you turn the hop up dial it adjusts how hard the metal bump pushes on the rubber.
If the hop up is adjusted too low it can cause the rounds to fall past it, or if it is really oily the round can slip past. Right now I am going to go get some dinner. When I come back to my pc I will snap some pics and show you how to get to the hop up rubber and make sure it’s all together properly. |

Check to make sure your hop-up rubber is inserted properly and functioning as it should be. You should also clean the hop-up with a little bit of soap and water while you have it out. Also make sure your hop up is set high enough to hold the rounds in place one you have finished reassembly.
