MOLLE II 40mm grenade pouches & airsoft shells
I'm looking at MOLLE pouches to carry a variety of airsoft 40mm shells (big KA ones that look like MM Moscarts, and GBtech M433s) and wondering if they'll fit properly or if they're too big to fit a normal 40mm pouch? (not sure how big the pouches are; I haven't seen any that were identified as being specifically for the larger 40mm flares, for example)
Anyone have experience or insight about this?

I have used HSGI and SDS 40mm grenades pouches and never had any trouble fitting my Mosquito Mold grenades in them. I have to admit that the fit is a little tighter on the SDS pouches though.

I have some Drop Zone ones that were made for the larger shells. They are almost too big for the standard 40mm shells even when adjusted as small as possible. It looks to be like they will hold a shell as much as 3" longer and 50% larger in diameter than a 40mm shell.
