Hop Up Q?

My Manual for my gun gave me no help on how to Set Up my HopUp. When i Pull my charging handle back(or cocking Handle). My Dust Pan Pops open and I can adjust it there but idk how much i can tighten it before i can hurt it. Sry Im a Total n00b. I just spent $200 and dont really feel like messing it up.

If it's a copy of the Marui system, one end of the scale is no hopup, the other is max.

Start at the lower end, shoot a bit, look at the trajectory. Then slowly increase the hopup until the trajectory is about perfect.

I dont understand what you mean by hurting it. If you crank it all the way, it wont work.

Cant answer you better, because here a Well R-7 is not worth importing. I dont think many folks have one. We go for products of decent quality.

your not going to dammage it. worst case scenario is you jam the gun because the hopup is way to high...fixable be reducing the hopup.
Using improper BBs can do bad things also.

but as greylocks said, "well" guns are generall known as "peices of shit"...hence why no one uses them. Just above the level of softair.

What you could do, is put on a black glove and tape a RDS to your wrist. point your finger at the enemy and yell "BANG".

Why are you worried about the hop up when you have another thread in the trash about your gun not even working? From what Ive heard about that Well R-7, might as well kiss your 200 good bye, since thats what you basically already did when you bought it.

Ok Y'all didnt have to totaly flame me i just asked a simple question. Its the my first time with adjustable hop up. My gun is working perfect now. NO More Problems! I am asking for a ICS Armalite M4 for My birthday. My Well doesnt have that shitty of a gearbox it has the same one as the TM m15a4.And the same HiCap Mag. I just need to get a full metal conversion kit for it and it will be perfect. You guys probobly Have a lot better but thats all i could afford at the moment K? So Stop Flamin ME!!!!!!! Its a hell of alot better than the peice of shit Mp5 SD6 i had. I had to try some different stuff with my mag to get it feeding right, but now its fine.
