Hello, just recently i purchased the Classic Army M15A4 Carbine, it came with an adjustable stock. My question is how do you remove that stock? I am sure it comes off but cannot figure out how. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried looking in the manual?

Yes, I tried that I looked in the exploded views but that just showed how to take it apart.

Y'know the lever you squeeze to move the stock back & forth?
Well Its spring loaded so of you move the lever a little the other direction you'll be able to slide it off. Just don't be a moose about it and force it.

Do you want to remove just the stock itself, or the buffer tube as well?

I don't have experience removing the buffer tube on an airsoft gun, just real ones which I'm sure are different in how they attach to the receiver. However if you just want to remove the buttstock itself, you can extend it to its furthest position and then pull down the release lever AT THE BOLT. The action of levering the release will only pull the bolt so far down, but if you yank on the whole assembly it will clear the tab on the buffer tube enough to remove it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info and help, I wanted to remove the actual rod (not sure what it is called) and the peice that slids on it (the stock). So basicly the hand grip would be the only thing pointing out. If you have to take the whole thing apart, then it isnt worth it, I just wanted to transport it easily in a backpack or something. Sorry if it is hard to understand, i am not sure of all the technical terms.
Thanks

Is there an actual reason why you want to take off the stock?

He wants to back-pack it.
Get a bigger back-pack.

Detatch the top reciever from the bottom so that the gun is in two parts, it's only two pins.

That's what I do when my case is full or in the midst of repairs...

Unless you want it smaller than that... then definately get a bigger backpack.

removale of the stock

did't read the hole thread but in stead of squishing that leaver push it away from the stock and slide it off. Do the opposite of collapsing the stock
