Sticking slide

I have a KSC USP compact, and everytime i go to cock it, about 1 inch into the pull the slide catches on someting, then continues. it also happens when i fire it, it will stop at that point. anyone have any ideas?

thats what Im not sure about, as I have oiled it(15 weight 100% silicon) and it still sticks in certain places along the pull

I just got a metal slide for WA SVI 3.9 and it stuck like that too, had to grind down the rails on the frame and the grove in the slide.

Safe to assume that you remove the slide and oil in in all the places that move and work the oil in by moving the parts before putting the slide back on? Some cases putting oil on something doesn't do much until those parts are moved repeatedly to let the oil seep into all the surfaces.
