Tactical Light parts? / Building a taclight
So heres the deal:
I purchused a Russian Znich tactical light for my AK. Needless to say it's not the best of quality. A very low end light bulb powered by 4 AA batteries. Not to mention the fact that it stopped working after about a month. I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to buy the various parts of a taclight (Bulb assembly, any other parts needed) ? I thought of buying a taclight and butchering it, but if I can simply buy the parts that would probably be better. Any advice? I've got lots of room to work with, the light is made (Like most Russian gear) solid as a brick house. Too bad the internals were shiat.

You can get all of the parts of a surefire light seperately on Ebay - bulb assemblies, bodies, tailcaps, bezels, etc.
