MARPAT alright if it's all I can get?

I have an uncle who is int he media and regularily visits marines he was embedded with in Iraq. He can get me a full set of MARPAT combats. He might be able to get me CADPAT thanks to connections in canadian forces, but he said it would be quite difficult. Most people have told me that CADPAT is better, especially for Ottawa, but if I can get a full set of MARPAT for free I'm inclined to accept it. Most of my money will be going into an AEG and various other bits of gear.
Basically, is MARPAT that much of a hindrance when it comes to be assigned to teams and in general or should I go for it and save myself some cash?

I prefer MARPAT over CADPAT

whatever you prefer, really, is what you should get.

It really suits you out west though. I lived in Calgary for 2 years and it's sooo much greener here.

Dont they just seperate teams by digi and non-digi?
So marpat and cadpat should be same team? correct
