HK has a line of Armalites called HK146.
Yeah and they're pure sex. They use an actual piston in the upper reciever instead of just a gas tube, so your upper stays spotless even after 1000 rounds. My BC got the chance to use one he said they're gorgeous. The mags have rollers in them on the springs or some shit too, so they're super smooth, no jamming, way easier to load, and they feed spectacularly. I'd love to try one.

The L85 is fed using NATO-standard (STANAG) magazines, similar to M16 type magazines, with the standard capacity of 30 rounds. Early L85A1 steel magazines caused a lot of troubles, as well as a magazine housing itself, which had a thin walls that could be easily dented, thus blocking the magazine way. Both magazines and its housings were upgraded in the L85A2 configuration, too.
Apparently I'm was not sure enough as they have in fact changed it some time ago. If anyone cares you can view additional information regarding this weapon HERE.

There is one glaring thing that has remained the same however ... the real steel version still sucks.
