I respect that, I do, my parents are extremely strict about what I do with the airsoft rifles Own, but your saying i shouldn't even have one until i'm 18, but yet there are people in Alberta who are under 18 and they have even more than I do.
I'm not saying that I don't respect the laws, yes I won't go shooting it in my back yard, i'll use my basement. But if the team I play with doesn't have a problem with me playing indoors, then i'm not going to stop after spending so much money to get into the sport. Cheers Squibber

Even if others do it, it does not mean it's legal. It only means that many parents dont even inform themselves at all when they get stuff for their kids.
It's like speed limits when driving; choosing to drive over the limit because others do it does not make it more legal. If your team and the place where you play accept the full legal responsibility for your actions, and whatever consequences, are insured, etc, then they can do what they want. You still cant legally own what the law considers a replica until you are 18. That is your choice to break or not, and it's your parent's responsibility if shit happens. Yes, many do it anyway, not everyone is caught, but when they are it's pretty sad. All I can say is good luck. I know I'd be pissed if anyone under my care had a way to clean out my bank accounts and insurance coverage. End of discussion, until next week when another person asks how come it's 18+ and I or someone else has to explain it all over again. |

Nawww, the question about lube was valid. But it could be trimmed to remove our non-maintenance advice about age and other legal crap.
