Sights.

Get whatever looks nice to you. Most airsoft rifles don't have the range to warrant the use of a high-quality, expensive scope.

EDIT: According to a review I just read by *searching*... the TM M733 has a fixed carry handle, which I believe means that, No, you can't put a scope on it.

Anyway, get an RDS. Just an Aimpoint replica, that's all you need.

Anything magnifying isn't worth it.

*google for spelling of site/sight*

An elcan would look real big and funny on the M733, seeing that it doesn't have a flat top reciever. I suggest you go RDS with a Commando, from CA or G&P. Commando has a flat top reciever and the RDS makes for quick, accurate targets, the magnifying of other sites just makes it slower and the airsoft guns really don't have the range to rationalize more than 1.5 or 2x.

EDIT - Ok... Sights. Proven wrong, though, it seems to be a very common mistake.

When I put RDS site into google, it yielded 29,600 results.
RDS sight only yielded 6,000 results.

M-W.com yielded nothing. Lesson learned for me!

Let's just call it what it should be called... a scope.

M733s and other Armalite variants with solid carry handles can have scopes mounted. They just need an intermediate piece that bolts to the carry handle and allows for a rail interface with the scope you want to mount.

Conversely, you can get a scope and mount designed specifically for Armalite carry handles.

ELCAN on a carry handle looks really fragile, especially if your carry handle is plastic. Settle for an Aimpoint or some other smaller optic that won't put as much strain on the handle.

Get an RDS or something similar. Just like the posts above, scopes are almost pointless unless you have a high powered BA rifle.

From personal Experince, Elcans are big, bulky and heavy, and do little to no good for airsoft. If your using a plastic body, the Elcan will eventually end up loosing the rail(if on a Flat Top). I use an Aimpoint right now and its probably one of the better sights of i have used.

I have an Aimpoint replica on my M4-S and a 3-12x 40mm rifle scope on my M-14. I find the Aimpoint is best seeing you could use it with both eyes open and the rifle scope on the m14 is good for take longer distance potshots. Though I do sometimes switch the aimpoint over to the M14 and love it.

There are different schools of thought to that. My personal belief is that magnification is very useful outdoors. A 2-3x zoom will wonders for your aim, especially if your eye sight is crappy like mine. Anything over 3x though is really useful only for spotting or sniper rifles, even 3x itself can be pushing it sometimes.
