Do you mean KWC? be more specific on what kind of desert eage this is, as KWC makes a variety of them. Not all of them use the same types of gas. I think the problem here is that you used a gas that was too powerful for the gun. (this may not be the problem, I am just making a guess)

ok if it was a plastic slide and you were using co2 with it, then no wonder it blew off. co2 is one of the most powerful gases for airsoft. you should have used 134a or green gas(but beware, green gas does crack plastic after prolonged use) with it.

and a new slide just means a new slide. most companies will not give you instructions on how to install it.

PICS WOULD BE A GREAT HELP HERE.

C02? No wonder your slide blew off and hit you! You dont need your pistol to be shooting at 410 fps...especially a deagle...dare I even ask if it's a hardkick? If you want a powerful airsoft gun, get an AEG and upgrade it. Also, you might want to ask around locally where to find a new slide seeing as this is a Canadian forum. When and if you find a new slide, I suggest you stick to duster gas. Good luck!

Try Airsplat or Airsoft Elite. They've been known to have KWA as I've seen them around and I think that's where they came from.

Finding KWC parts is gonna be hard, I haven't seen anywhere that sells KWC slides. Since you are in the US I would just order a new one, the KWC Desert Eagle heavy weight seems to go for around $90-100. I would just get a new one and run it on green gas/propane.

the only deagle i would really recomend co2 with is the kwc co2 deagle as that one is meant for co2. do more research on the type of gas and what type of gas your gun can take before putting co2 in a plastic deagle.
