DEA would have matched that?...
You mean I could have had trades for the same price?... 8-O
Now, the only way to rationalize this is to go downtown and get custom trades.
Hell Yeah! Now, what would I engrave...

Also mcguyver, you've been kind of *spelling* CanadianAirsoft yourself, so you can't really hit on DEA for saying he'd price match.

(Note to DEA, CanadianAirsoft adds tax on top, so make sure to factor that in too)

yes, but i don't work there or own the company. if a customer wants to sing praises, then that should be ok. my point was one business in the sphere of another and on a forum for idea exchange, not commercial exploitation. i seem to recall you had something to say as well. everyone price matches, didn't you know? that's why they post prices and conditions on their website. but will a retailer drop 200 bucks off a gun to a guy via the internet when he can sell at retail repeatadly to walk-in customers? it's up to you, the consumer, to shop for your needs. not the retailer to advertise. that's my point.

DEA was only responding to a question from another user. He wasn't advertising his wares with prices or otherwise. Maybe it should have been PM'd or e-mailed, maybe not. But in this case it wasn't (the question or answer) and DEA did say that if they wanted to discuss it further to take it private.

If Tru or the mods have a problem with it they will take the appropriate action.

I got my ICS M4 about a year ago from Tru. It has the Olympic trades on it as well.

I upgraded it right out of the box - even electing to replace the ICS motor with one from Eagle Force. I have had absolutely no problems (knocks on wood) with it so far.

It seems to be hit and miss with these guns. My teammate Scattershot also has one and has had no problems with it as well.

When ICS first came onto the market, they did have issues, I agree, however I can assure you that in the past year or so, they have been taking feedback and very closely worked on problems that occure in a large part from the european and US market (mostly european) to try and improve these problems. Remember, any on-going problems they run into, is in the big picture, their problem. Consumer confidence drops, and the sales of their products drop. So I can assure you, that although it's by no means a perfect AEG, they are certainly working at it, and on the right course
