It looks like the guy standing right after the guy with the M14 has the same rig, however he seems to have a hydration carrier and the buttpack doesn't have much/any contents. Looks like he is wearing it over a plate carrier.

Yes, there's PALS on the shoulder harness. What I do like about the Blackhawk version is the sternum strap. Here's a pic of the Eagle MLCS H-harness:

Check out the Swap Meet at the "other forum", MLCS H-harnesses pop up from time to time. It ain't a chest rig so not too many people are interested in it. I've got one coming in. I haven't tried but you might want to ask Eagle Industries if they're willing to sell them to private individuals

Yuxi: I would definately try before you buy... Aren't you a skinny guy like me? I had the BHI version for a while, and I _loathed_ it. Damn the was murder on my collarbone.

I've got one (Strike LBE in OD) for sale Yuxi...You can try it out for a few games first if you like and see if it's a good fit. Adrian is right, the yoke is wider than most and if you're small shouldered it might not be a great fit.

-Clothes: PCU Level 5 Soft Shell Jacket and trousers (same properties as gortex, but thinner, softer and easily compressible)
-2nd-line rig: Possible Paraclete RAV or Eagle CIRAS vest/armor I'm leaning towards an AF-version RAV.
-belt/suspenders: If the operators in the foreground are any indication, it looks like he's wearing a BHI LBE Harness over the RAV/CIRAS. Pouches attached appear to be a MOLLE LRRP buttpack, BHI MOLLE hydration pouch, MOLLE general purpose pouch on the side and MOLLE ammo pouch in the front(all attached to LBE, which I am assuming is the first-line gear).
-Figure 8 harness (as previously stated)
-Merrel Sawtooth boots
-Hatch Tactical Kneepads in Desert Tan (distinguishable by black loop velcro)
-Sordin Supreme Pro Electronic Hearing Protectors

You got me on the gloves. Anyone know?
This is the most comprehensive answer given, there have been more answers, but none like this.

Hope this has helped, if not I'll post the other answers when I get back from school.

Pugs: thanks alot for the pics!

Adrian: thanks for the heads up on that issue, it is something I usualy keep in mind, but didn't for this rig for some reason.

Morbius: Yeah, Im pretty sure it will not work for me, that and I can not make it to any games until spring time probably. Thanks for the offer anyways though, its apreciated.

Keyboard: that is a pretty comprehensive list. Im not sure if they are merrel sawtooth boots though, unless there were different verions of that boot made. Thank you VERY much for your help though!

Just one Q for you guys that have it. What's defined as "wide"? I was ever so close to that order button on optactical for one... Kinda happy I didn't now.

Also considered it so it could be used for outdoor hikes and such. Unlike a tac vest, I'd think, provided the pouches are civily dispersed (if there is such a thing), it'd attract less attention... Would look like some sort of webbing arrangements, and I know a few peeps who like that kinda stuff to hike.

Firemachine69:
I always fail to see the point of wearing military gear in a civilian application unless you really have no choice. I see lots of people wanting to buy military kit for civilian applications with the argument that "It may blend in", why not spend money on civilian gear of equal if not superior quality which will definetly blend in. I used to use a HAWG in OD for a school bag, now it looks pretty un-assuming as a backpack however even 'uneducated' eyes were able to sniff me out. Overall I did not like the attention and now I never wear anything remotely military. What better way to blend in than to wear the same things as everyone else then try to pass off a peice of gear and hope people won't notice. This wasin't all mean't specifically towards you firemachine or anyone posting on this thread in particular but something that has been picking at me and needed to get out. It isin't so bad for us to get spotted with this kit but I sometimes see people on 'real life' forums (won't mention any in specific) where they debate which gear/colors/setups look the most civilian; why not just get civilian stuff which will blend in 100% of the time. I'd even be leery to use high-end civilian stuff for fear of making myself look like more of a target, depending on the situation of course.

Anyways, thats the end of my rant.

I'm 5'9"ish, 32" waist. The back lower panel of the rig is removable, and then you can cinch it down enough to fit someone like me. But that wasn't the problem; between the shitty ass nylon that BHI uses and the design off the harness, it killed my shoulders. Much worse than a MAV with the normal straps carrying the same amount of shit.

Unfortunately, I haven't done much hiking last couple of years, but why on earch would you want to wear LBE for a hike? A decent pack is cheaper, more comfortable, more versatile and doesn't make you look like a nut.

edit:

Chicks dig coyote brown packs. If you'd gotten CB instead of OD, you would look like less of a nut, and prolly pulled more. :P
