Higher Muzzle Velocity?

If you head the slide or toggle on a blow back action so it couldn't move would the co2 used to activate it be transferred to the BB being fired increasing the muzzle velocity or could it damage the gun ? just curious

well, if i can understand this properly, all you going to do is fire then vent all the gas because the plunger is now being held in place by the "hammer"

Pretty much... And yes, that's not healthy for the gun

Potentially, it could increase muzzle energy, but it would also vent the entire mag in one shot, since the bolt or slide has to move back in order to release the striker that's holding the valve open.

Ok that solves that. Always best to ask first even if it is a dumb question. As I always say there is no dumb questions just the one you don't ask! Thank you all for the prompt replies, and saved me from damaging my guns
