Weapon light for G17

Hi all,

I'm looking for a repro or inexpensive ( > $150-200) flashlight that will mount to a G17. I'm a noob at pistol weapon lights, so I'm not sure if there are specific lights that mount to a glock or if they're universal and mount to any pistol rail.

I've already read that an M3 light by Insight or a TLR-1 light are common on G17 but I was wondering if there were other less expensive options.

Streamlight TLR-1 or the Xiphos

You want cheaper, stick to crappy airsoft brands

Inforce APL. They make a model to fit all pistols, and also have a Glock specific model.

TLR-1 is my fav. You can find them for as lot as $100ish sometimes. I prefer the TLR-1 HL version I have over my regular but it does bump up the price a lot more.

Currently on a decent sale if you want a weaponized/offensive light. Wouldn't use this as a nav light indoor, though.

Ended up picking one up from Amazon. You can get it for $20-25 cheaper on other sites but with prime I get free two day shipping. Also got a few other things as well so works out better. Cost me a pinch over $200 just for the light.

APL is generally a great light. The design of it really fits the look of glocks.

They're also cool on P226 E2's, they end up being flush with the slide and I am a fan of that look.

Does the APL have strobe and how many lumens etc.. Not a lot of info on them even on rampart.
