Unhappy TM Px4's bb's rolling out of barrel

I have 3 "WORKING" TM Px4's in my possession that I am having difficulty getting to shoot. This only just started by the way. One of the px4's was shooting flawlessly until recently and it started to drop bb's every other shot.

They will feed the bb.
The slide will lock back and reload the bb.
Gas will discharge when the trigger is pulled.

But the bb will only drop out of the barrel. I have had the successful 1 or 2 shots every 4-5 shots.

The hop-up is tuned down completely disengaged.

What are some things to look for when diagnosing for air leaks? How do i check if the cylinders and pistons are in good form?

Turn on some hop. You need some on to keep the BB positioned in the hop unit.

Or, you may need to check the hopup rubber and/or replace it.

I can drop a bb into the hop-up unit without it falling out. I have to wrap my mouth around the chamber (ew right?) and blow HARD for it to go out.

Strange thing is that I went to Chrono this at a field and the bb's kept rolling out.

When I get HOME, I find that it shoots every shot without fail and some blue-residue from a gasket sealer is on the cardboard so... I think it had something to do with the air leak.

Not sure if it's a combination of this residue gunking up something in the cylinder or if it was because it's cold. Will definitely do more shooting in the morning to test this out. For some reason one of the bb's got chopped in two or it double fed or something...

Thanks for the reply, Styrak! Any more advice is greatly appreciated.

What kind of hopup rubber are you using? I had the same issue in my PX4 using the PDI w-hold. It swells up like crazy when it comes in contact with silicone oil. Have you tried switching back to the stock TM/WE one to see if the problem persists? I switched back to the stock TM and everything is perfect.

One was nine-ball rubber.

One was stock TM.

One was stock WE/HK3P.

It happened on all of them but when I tested them at home they all fire more than when I tried it at the field.

And yes, I did drop some silicone oil in all of them because they were sitting out for a while and I wanted to prevent them from drying out.

Weird thing for the stock tm one was that the bb's will not feed unless:
I have the slide racked back
Then I put in the magazine
Then I release the mag release lever

It will not feed if I put the magazine in and then rack the slide back. I guess that's something I'll have to keep in mind because of the nozzle or something.

Adding hop-up definitely helped for the WE/HK3P Px4. Stopped them from rolling out and such.
