LCT VSS Scopes

Hey all,

Was wondering what PSO scope would fit the 'LCT VSS' without modification, or purchasing the LCT Scope Extender? Recently built mine for DMR spec, but have no clue what scopes will fit on it's tall receiver.

And for that matter, where is a good source to purchase the Russian PSO scopes?

Thank you,

Mausturm

Why the opposition to the scope extender? It's the easiest way to attach a real scope to the LCT VSS.

Just wondering if there is a way to avoid spending extra money really. If there isn't a scope that will readily attach to the VSS stock, then the second question still stands. Where is the best place to purchase Russian PSO scopes?

I use these guys. Just shoot them an email. I use the 2x-6x in conjunction with the LCT scope extender.

Make sure you get a Real PSOP scope! Then you need the scope adaptor mount for the bottom of the scope from LCT. Poor design of the LCT wont allow any PSOP scopes to mount directly. I had a knock of Chinese scope and the adaptor wouldn't fit...screw holes in the wrong place. The adaptor just raises the scope up enough to not touch the upper section of the Gun body.

I sent an email to them for the Dragonov version, not the AK version. Is that the version that I want? Link below...

Thank you,

So out of curiosity, is it easy to take the scope apart to install the 'LCT VSS Scope Adaptor'? And is there a 'How-To' guide to install it out of curiosity?

You'll be able to do it just by looking at it. Very simple stuff.

It's just some of the screws are in there super tight. Didn't think it would be this tough to take it apart :P
