Going by a pic of it(found one on another site). You have a skinny band/strip that wraps around part of the front sight, and a wider band/strip that wraps around the butt stock(slide it into the slit/hole an make it tight. Than attach the sling to both ends.

Best description I can do without having the sling in front of me. Should be easy enough to figure out though.

Generally you have a loop that goes over your shooting shoulder/under your support arm, and a straight length that sits along side the rifle/SMG that the end of the loop slide on to give you the fast transition between slung and firing. Overall if you look at it, it looks like a big letter 'P' the straight part is the line, and the curved part goes around the body.

There should be a contraption (other than the sling itself) consisting of one section held close by velcro and one section held close by a metal belt hoop-type thing. Separate them and just wrap the velcro'd section around the stock, run the strap through the notch beside the stock's tubing. I hope this helps. :|

Well I've got a G&P 3 pointer, it took me a while and a lot of rings to get it on my CA36, but I got it just right eventually. I'm pretty sure I could do the same for a M4-S if I had it in my front me.
