Starting new Airsoft Store, Any Suggestions?
I'm planning on starting a new airsoft store called Northern Airsoft based online, and I already a small amount of Items in stock ready to ship.
I'll be trying to keep prices low shipping from Toronto for 17 Bucks anywhere in Canada, Orders over $300 will have free shipping. Mostly only Consumable Items have came and I'm waiting for some Pistols & AEGs, although I'm not sure if I should just launch the store now and add in the new items when they arrive. The best Idea I had was to add in a section for people to request items not available literally anywhere, and I would order the specific item although this might take weeks for the customer to receive their gun. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions, item requests, or questions, I would really appreciate any help. |

Honestly, quality heavy weight BB's are big for players using precision rifles/semi auto marksman rifles.
My advice would be to get on facebook/cruise this forum and a few others for things people constantly want but have to order from overseas. Small parts/parts under 10 dollars are low profit from what I understand (airsofters are nothing if not super cheap), unless you are moving crazy bulk amounts. Guns are your bread and butter, same with gear (big ticket items). |

My suggestions:
1. Get AV'ed here so you don't look like a sketchy Randy Jones. Last time I saw a random guy say he was starting a store he ended up being a scammer and was arrested a few weeks ago for stabbing a woman. 2. If you are online only, you will NEED to find a market that doesn't exist yet in Canada. No point in opening an online store if you're just going to sell the same stuff that's already available in the Canadian market. |

One thing you can do is to get Age Verified on these forums and then apply for Retailer Status. I do not know this process, so maybe someone else can fill you in. I believe that is the pre-requesite for advertising your store on these forums if you wish to do so. |

Specialize, do something better than anyone else. Huang at airsoft depot is the king of ACM and somewhat obscure items, Airsoft Store Canada offers great quality parts and ubber fast shipping, Illusion was the standard for custom pistols in canada etc....
Seriously, the last thing people want is another retailer with dubious reputation that carries common stock (G&G usually lol ) Don't know of anyone who specializes on GBBRs, maybe thats a good start. Offer the whole WE line up and lots of RA tech parts to start.
