New to the CA M24, Parts Compatibility, Upgrades
Hey Guys,
I recently purchased a CA m24 and im having difficulty deciding on what to get as far as upgrades to get it to field limits of 450, i can rhop my own barrels and all, I just need advice on what piston, piston head, cylinder and cylinder head to use. Are the aps2 and m24 and l96 compatible? hero outdoors has the m24 piston here: http://www.herooutdoors.com/modify-a...r-mod24-aps-2/ and airsoft parts has the l96 here: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1096 any advice on other options would be great, Some canadian retail prices are too much compared to hongkong. Thanks in advance! |

You should stock up on the magazines. At one point they were impossible to find and the feed lips break easily if you forgot that the last shot has be made and you ram the nozzle into it.
The pot metal bolt handled is fragile on the inside and soon wear out. There is a press pin that chews up the inner of the bolt handle and the tiny balls start to get loose as well. The big issue I had was soft screws. Replace the them with harder alloy steel 12.9 grade versions. |

Speed Airsoft makes a beautiful replacement handle for the M24.
Put a PDI cylinder in there. They are welded shut and will not fail like the stock cylinder. Torontoairsoft seems to always have the mags for them. I have bought a bunch and keep them in storage in the event I fuck one up. Even when replacing the screws put some blue loctite on them so they don't back out. Cheers! |
