When the trigger is pulled, the gun gives a very weak burst of gas and the slide only moves back a little bit. I have tried multiple mags.
When turned upside down, it cycles properly. I tore both slide and frame down looking for any broken/missing pieces. My guess is that the stock piston is crap and when I fire it upside down, the additional gas is enough to cycle it, but I'm looking for other opinions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sounds like you have a broken/cracked piston/nozzle.

Okay, was kind of along my thought process. Any secondary ideas? Because if I'm gonna order parts, might as well get em all at once...

That's likely the culprit and has the symptoms you described.
