Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

I've got a rite in the rain notebook I've had for like 7 or 8 years. Only ever wrote in it twice, but it survived 3 rain games and 1 trip through the washer AND dryer. A little bent out of shape, but still works.

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

See now I have to test this out more thoroughly.
This is my idea. I am going to take a page or two from the book I will write on one (or one half) and leave the other blank. I will then stick them in water (likely an old jar or something) and then wait. Check every hour or so for the first while then leave it over night and see how bad it is in the morning.

OP As far as the Fisher space pen goes they are pointless.
Get a Zebra F-701. They run about 8 bucks at staples. Then buy a fisher space pen refill. You take a small plastic spacer out of the 701 and BAM, instant stainless steel space pen. http://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=13351.0 This will cost about 1/4 of a normal space fisher space pen. |

Bad image, but you can see where the paper has started to disintegrate on the cover and spine, some of the edges on the inside were starting to do the same thing. As it dried it also crinkled up a bit, the way normal paper does as it dries after a small spill of water. Interestingly, another notebook in my rig survived much better though it wasn't that much drier.

With all of that said, I have made ziplock bags part of my mandatory kit for all things like kill cards, notepads, phone, spare clothes, gloves, ect.
Kept me going at Black Oak, I woke up in the field, in the morning, wondering where everyone else had gone...
