Barrel/Hop up reassembly

Took apart the hop up and barrel assembly and unsure how to reassemble. I usually do a detailed step by step disassemble pictorial but this time I'm not quite sure.

There is a c-clamp looking thing (proper part name?) that goes around the hop up rubber (and of course the barrel, implied). From my previous step picture, it sits below the little window but in my reassembly fail, it is flush or even sits out a tiny bit.

Oh, this is from a WE M84 GBB. My question is then how do I assemble it so that the clamp sits completely inside? I'll take an internal pic shortly to explain my noob confusion, though I'm sure vets know what's going on. Cheers!

Well that was fun. Figured it out, then completely disassembled the rest of the gun... And reassembled. Now I have a basic understanding of how everything works -- though not all the part names.

Thanks for popping in anyway. I'm going all in, so I'll be here for a while. Got a CYMA MP5K as well. Have a TM G36C and KWA Glock 17 on the way. Now just need to get AVd...
