Propane on WA

I am currently looking into getting a WA SV Expert 6" and am curious as to what the side effects will be if i run it on propane. I know i am going to risk my slide breaking... (which can be remedied with the AI Flow Restrictor), but what other side effects will occur with running this higher psi gas?
Any info would be greatly appretiated 8)

Other then slide breaking and seals drying out without proper oiling, there really isn't any disadvantages to using propane.

Syphen forgot some crucial things...
1. Propane smells bad...so will your piece.
2. The higher psi of propane could impact the other components of your gun...for example, you should upgrade at *least* the loading muzzle as well. Stock WA muzzles can crumple like a pop can from the extra force.
3. The higher psi will reflect on the fps of a bb leaving the barrel. Please remember on the field, that the gun will be running hotter than on duster. Use proper trigger control.

been using propane in my WA for a year (has a metal slide though) and i don't suffer from the stink of propane as long as you air it out. As for the loading nozzle, it's not REALLY needed to upgrade right away, but have spares handy. I just broke mine.
Some of the things to watch for with a plastic slide is the slide catch starting to wear down and hairline cracks forming.

MadMax has made an adaptor for WA guns (now if only he would make an adaptor for KSC guns).

I had the frame break on a WA V10 using Propane and a metal slide. A small piece under the slide safety catch broke clean off. It didnt stop the gun from working but it's still real crappy that it broke.
