jg bar 10 magazine dump issue

I have been having an issue with my upgraded jg bar 10.

I am using the stock hop up chamber.
When I put a loaded magazine into the gun and pull back the bolt the magazine dumps most of if not all the bbs into the inner barrel. Sometimes on the second or third bolt pull.
My inclination is that the bb stopper is defective. I have checked the spring tension and it seems fine. Perhaps I'm wrong.

This is what I'm referring to :

Are there any vsr pros out there that have seen this issue before? Any help is appreciated.

Does the BB stopper move smoothly? Any chance it might get stuck in place when the nozzle retracts?

Have you tried other magazines, different brands perhaps?

Does it do it if you load only a few rounds in the magazine? If not, the spring tension in the magazine might be too strong when fully loaded.

There is a chance that the stopper is getting stuck in the upward position. It would explain the magazine dump.
Is it a common problem where the spring that returns the bb catch has lost its tension?

At this point I'm thinking adding a pen spring to compliment the existing one.

It happened to me on a cheapo Well/TSD VSR10. I stretched the spring and it was a bit better but ultimately I changed the hop-up chamber (then brought a real TM VSR10 but that's another story).

After disassembling tweaking and reassembling 3 times to have the gun begin double feeding two bbs into the hop up rubber I said fuck it and ordered a TM precision hop up and barrel with a nineball.

Best thing you could have done. The TM unit also comes factory with a VERY good 6.03mm tightbore by the way.
