Via Tapatalk I can't see anything about age verification. That'd have been my first place to look.
If he's not AV'd, then that should be his absolute first priority. And hopefully he'd have the wherewithal to read the FAQs on the topic.

What're you referring to, "social pat on the back"? Lost me there.

even a cursory google search of canadian retailers can reveal what you're looking for already in country.

ups ground/standard fees will make it cost more than buying local. There are fewer and fewer deals to be had importing a lot of guns now, especially with the canadian dollar starting to tank.

The brokerage with UPS standard is 33-48$ PLUS 5% duty and 13% hst.

Everyone in the US ships ups standard.

Get verified and buy in Canada from classifieds or from good Canadian retailer.. Is my 2 cents..

First off you buy from states always custom fees (the magical reach around) unless shipped 'gifted' works on smaller items... In my experiences anyways.

Second off- mix up, wrong gun is shipped.. Doesn't work out of the box.. Missing anything.. Usually have to send back for verification 95% is usually your cost.

Short story.. I play softball and bought a bat from a american retailer down in California because the bat was not avail here... So I paid the $199 USD+ shipping and was told 2-3 weeks. Well it took 4.5weeks to arrive and when it did had a UPS mystery charge of $40 some odd dollars.. The real kicker is I only got 50 BP swings on it then had to send it away for warranty because it broke.. Couldn't send it back to the Canadian rep for warranty because it was bought down south.. Luckily the bat company was great with warranty return and paid the shipping back to me..

Is this the first day on here for you guys?

He ordered it before he posted that he wanted a "suggestion".

Then he came on here to get told that he did good. How come that never works?

You can read their policies all you want but until you get a UPS guy at your door asking for more in just brokerage than the item is worth, send him away and spend 2 weeks arguing policy with a numpty on the phone jsut for them to loose the package, you don't know what its like. Just don't use UPS for international shipping, ever.
Not to be a Debbie downer but if he knows where the nearest CBSA office is he can always head there to self-declare his package, in the event of brokerage fees. Should only take a few days extra at most. UPS and FedEx will charge brokerage if the item is taxable in your province but the shipper neglects to charge you sales tax up front.

But yeah.... Exchange rate is killer ATM.
