There isn't a thread posted directly on this from what I was able to pull up, so here goes.

I was curious if anyone has had experience with them at all? I have seen some reviews online that seem to make them out to be the fog killer, but most of these are sponsored videos, so who knows. I just have been looking for something full seal and low profile; these caught my eyes.

I got a pair of them and with the straps they can get foggy, but they are better then the single pane Go Spec IIs that I have.

You are more then welcome to borrow my pair, I use Revisions now so they are just a backup for me.

I just got a pair about 2 weeks ago, and so far they work nicely.
There's pretty much no fogging; just a tiny bit around the bottom edges, once in a while.
The little straps at the back of the arms seem a little loose, so I wrapped some tape around them and they're good.

Solid eye pro.

Agreed with above, excellent option for when full seal is required. When the strap is used it gets foggy like everything else and requires proactive measures (cat crap etc). But not as foggy as my Boogies were. And for me, when the arms are used instead of the strap it loses full seal (shape of head I guess).

FYI not sure if they are cheaper but they are OEMed by Pyramex (I-Force)

Good to know, I've been looking for something to swap out my boogies on days when they fog like crazy...

Didn't know they were OEM'd by Pyramex, thought the Valken lineup looked familiar. Pyramex pricing is definitely cheaper by almost 1/2 (US pricing), looks like I'll pick up a couple of pairs to try out.

Has anyone tried the Elvex Go Specs? They're similar to some of the Pyramex in design but are only ANSI Z87.1-2010 Certified.

Oh and just wanted to confirm, is ANSI Z87.1-2010 adequate for airsoft? Or would I want additional impact/ballistic ratings? (honestly I'm not sure, the boogies I have are US MIL-DTL-43511D rated and the other goggles I use have multiple ballistic ratings).

There's a number of elvex & pyramex goggles that are very well priced that I want to try out and review, but they're only ANSI Z87.1-2010 rated, vs something like the boogie that has mil/ballistic rating.

You might want to look again, they also have a ballistic rating on both Go Spec 2s and the I-Force/Zulu model.

Huge negative rating on them from me, Something in between the lenses (which was an air seal) ate the lenses on me making them completely useless.

i have the pyramex version. they have taken direct hits with no marks or any signs of damage. they are comfy but fog like crazy for me. i switched to shooter glasses because i fog everything up.

Thanks for the correction, my bad, don't know what I was typing... got the two brands mixed up, it was pretty late when I composed my message. But what I meant to say about the ANSI Z87.1-2010 rating was supposed to apply to the Pyramex lineup which has a lot of goggles w/ only that rating.

The Elvex line's rating is a bit more reassuring w/ the ballistic rating, though I do like the original Gospec design which only has the ANSI Z87.1-2010 rating. They seem to sit a bit further from the face than the Go Spec 2's, which would be great for me, some goggles are a bit too low profile and my eyelashes end up brushing against the goggles which ends up irritating my eye a bit.

I have been using these for a few months with some success. I find if i use the strap instead of the arms i get fog (but a better seal around the face). Using the arms there are some small gaps between the face and the goggles but that area is generally covered by my other face protection (sordins, face mask, hat, etc.) I don't think i would trust them indoors to not fall off without the strap so i use my full size ESS for that. All in all i use them as my go to for outdoor games and rarely fog with the arms on.
