P90 Problem
So I was out at a game today and when I was firing at one point it stoped and I could no longer pull the trigger all the way.
I took the mag out and noticed the nozzel looking thing was stuck forward , so I stripped it and then took out the mech box but its still sticking out it wont return. Anyone have any ideas ? I dont want to take apart the mechbox. |

The nozzle is not related to the trigger. To check for proper nozzle function, remove your mechbox and power it for a few semi auto shots. See if the nozzle moves back and forward.
Did you ever remove the mechbox with a loaded mag still on the receiver? Maybe you have a loose bb jamming the trigger somewhere. Does the trigger move all the way back with the mechbox removed?

I cant fire at all becuase the mechanism that slides back and makes electrical contact doesnt go all the way back so it doesnt make contact.
Im assuming that it doesnt go back all the way because the nozzel hasnt returned to its back position ? |

I've had the exact same problem numerous times.
here's what you do. (least.. this is what I do when it happens) Take out the mag and receiver, set them aside and take a look at the body of the p90 where the body meets the receiver. Theres a bent tubular metal piece (kinda like a really thick bent coat hanger) that sits inside the little plastic part which is attached to your trigger. pull the trigger slightly and you'll know what I'm talkin about, the plastic bit moves the metal piece back. pull the metal piece back and out of its little slot gently, try not to bend anything. Then push it towards the gearbox until it fires. (might freak you out when it goes full auto, in which case, let go then just put everything back together and it should be fine. G'luck. |

Thanks but that wont work either because I have the mechbox out and I still cant move the trigger peice back on the mech box its stuck in the mechbox.
this thing is new ive only fired 3 clips though it. |

yeah mine did the same thing the first day I got it. And a few more times afterwards.. seems to like to do it just before a game starts.
You gotta pull the metal piece up and back to get it unstuck.. then you'll be able to pull your trigger all the way again. |

ok maybee im not being clear enough.
see this pick, the nozzel is fully extended (red arrow) And the pink arrow is the trigger but it doesnt slide back all the way to make contact so no electricity can get to the motor . so how will moving the peice in the body help the issue with the mech box ? |

ok if i push up on that peice of metal just above the trigger I can move it back all the way.

Ok i hooked the battery up and pushed up that arm above the rigger and pulled the trigger and it fired and i put it back together and its working just fine now, but this doesnt explain why or what happend and im assuming it will happen again.
any info would help. |

See it works dunno why or how. I just assume there's something that notches the metal arm thingie so it doesnt go back properly but who knows..
In all likelyhood it will happen again though (happend about 7 times in total for me). I find its partially due to firing between cycles especially if your battery isn't charged enough and it cycles slowly. I haven't had the problem in a while but im sure it'll come up again. but at least now you know how to fix it. |
