P90 Burned Multicam - KDI

I decided to camo out a P90, mainly due to so many people disliking camo on metal guns. The P90, being so heavily plastic, worked great due to this, and allowed me to make a good camo, that seperates the Metal from the Plastic, and still gives a proper cohesion.

I've placed a few images of my gun, in both it's formats, CQB and Long range. There are a few small mods that aren't able to be seen by picture, that I did specifically to enhance the use of the P90, such as the spring receiver that takes the mags, I resolved the issue where it takes a significant amount of pressure, or manual lift to get the receiver to lock in place with the mag. This happens on all P90's I've run into, and I've solved this issue.

This is a few images of my P90 both before and after the paint job. I have a video of the progress on my facebook page which you can find the link at the bottom of the post. I wanted to give it a burned look to make it keep it's dark appearance as I felt if it was too obvious a camo, it looked a little too bold (as can be seen in the video).

Placed on custom names (Both my call sign, and my teams name) as well as a maple leaf all in multicam along the sides. I dusted all the camo before burning it to keep it's blend a bit more fluid and kept it from popping out too much as well. Also customized the rail covers as well as the angled grip into a burned camo look as well.

The technique I used on this P90 is a little harsher than I'd do on most, specifically because I hate the bottom compartment that just angles off so steeply. I wanted to make it look less... apparent. And I think with that I did well.

I'd love to hear your comments, as you can see, I still have another P90 to go, so any thoughts, any ideas, let me know and I may have another set of pics up here in the upcoming month or so.

All comments are appreciated.

im not a big fan of p90's but that looks good. From a como perspective tho it is a lil dark, prolly wouldnt conceal much more than black in an outdoor setting. At night or indoors in tye dark it should work decently tho.

Hey Hectic,

Yeah, I had a bit of an issue with making a split decision part way through causing issues with raised paint in certain areas, I went over certain spots with black a few too many times to raise the paint. Small mistakes that you learn from each time you do something new. I appreciate the comment it's nice to know that some guns if done well enough will sway the minds of at least a few. Next time the excessive need of black wont be necessary
