ESS goggle fan not working?

So I have just acquired a used, though still looking new as they weren't used much. But when I tossed a battery in to test them I don't hear or feel a fan working? So wondering if anyone has had this problem before? Or if these are so kick ass that they have the most silent fan in the world but any information on how to test them or repair the fan would be very appreciated.

iv had the same thing but just tried another battery and it worked

I've tried 3 batteries unless it's just the package and/or the brand

Try another package, use quality batteries like Duracell.

Not sure how the ESS are, but with my Revision there is a switch with "OPEN, OFF, ON."

Switch it to "ON" and hold the button down for three seconds, then the fan should go on. After that you can adjust the speed by pushing the button again, "Low, Medium, High."

Not sure if the ESS are similar, but you can try it out.

I've tried brand new Duracell and still no noise or vibration so not sure if the fan is working? Anyone know how to disassemble or troubleshoot them?

You'll know the fan is working, it buzzes. Especially when they're on your face. Also, you can remove the shroud and physically see it spin or not. The wiring on the ESS goggles is quite thin, and sometimes they pop out of their tiny solder on the board. I've ales seen them soldered in backwards. Try the battery in the wrong way. If all that does not work you'll need a buddy with a soldering iron, a multimeter, and some skill with electronics to help you out.

Thanks ya I fixed it took out my multi meter and took the entire system apart fan housing and battery housing to, battery housing checked out ok. I managed to fix the goggles they work now I think it was either a lose connection in the fan housing or the fan cover was screwed on to tight.
