cyma mp5 pdw (outer barrel and stock compatibility

Hey guys I'm looking to pick up a cyma mp5 PDW soon and I have a few questions regarding external parts compatibility.

I'd like to put on a quick detach suppressor and a different kind of stock on it, either a g36 style skeleton stock or a mp5 collapsible stock.

So my questions are as follows.

1: What kind of threading does the outter barrel of the cyma mp5 pdw have? My research has suggested that it’s 14mm negative threaded. Can anyone confirm that?

2: I know there are some mp5 style QD flash hiders that attach to the lug, has anyone used those? If so do they like them? Do they rattle?

3: Has anyone ever tried fitting a mp5 double bar style collapsible stock to a mp5k? If so what challenges did you run into fitting it? Did it drop in or did it need to be modified? What brand of stock did you fit to your mp5k?

I’d like the end product to look something like this.

Thanks for any information you guys can throw my way! Take it easy guys!

14mm - threads hidden under the flash hider then under a lil cap. Mine had the side folding stock, and i got the lil end cap to run stockless however i kind of remember it having some metal tabs welded on the body in the track the slither stock would ride in, it may work but i never tryed, but it looks like it should. The flash hider does rattle a bit, but more the lock button then the whole thing

KarlR,

A CYMA MP5K and MP5-PDW share the same rear cap and 2 pin setup.

Just becareful that other brands and models's rear stocks does not fit without modification.

As hectic mentioned earlier,

there is a hex screw under the orange tip.

It is glued and sealed.

it is a pain to remove that hex screw.

got mine without an.orange tip, check airsoftdepot. (It was the pdw version) qd flash hider pops off with lil twist after opening the lock switch. Then there is a brass (painted black) thread protector, its textured unscrews clockwise exposing the -14mm threading.
also the the rail on the one you pictured is available at airsoftparts.ca tho you have to remove like 8-10 screws every time u wanna swap the battety
