Elite Force Tavor - Elite Series - User Opinions Wanted

Salut. Thinking of buying one and upgrading :

Gun : http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/prod...ducts_id=15177

-509mm Prommy w/ RHop
-Angry Gun Front Rail Kit : http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/prod...ducts_id=16558
-350fps CqB build
-Sorbo Pad (40D) to reduce volume / wear in the gearbox
-Somehow make the trigger nice.... I'm thinking MOSFET(non-a/b) of some kind with an 11.1v Lipo might be a good start.
-new piston / piston head to keep from tearing the Sorbo pad to sh*t.

Hoping for thoughts, opinions, suggestions... I really want a nice Tavor but not sure exactly how to build it so I need advice, preferably from users.

Thoughts?

clone of the ares.... worse than the ares.

listed from asgi.. shoots under importable muzzle energy...

unless you're talking about buying it locally, in which case, clone of the ares... worse than the ares still stands. if the gearbox is the same, there's a bunch of proprietary shit in there.

Just saw a player with brand new one and it was busted only after one game (not even one day game but just one game). I saw how disappointed that player was.

I spoke to ASGI about import velocity, I've got it covered.

Have you used one or are you guessing? Most people I've heard review it consider it an improvement on the Ares so I'm curious what you are basing your opinion on.

I've held both guns. The s&t feels like cheaper plastic. He gear box design for it wasn't a straight v3. Going by other Ares guns the tavor is likely going the be just as mediocre. Mediocre and is fine when you have parts to choose from.. With more proprietary parts you're going to have little choice with replacing broken stuff when it breaks. Unless s&t stuck a regular v3 into it you're going to have the same problems with either one.

The S&T is cheaper and more crappy plastic feeling... But I am not asking about that gun. I am asking about the Elite Force Tavor, Elite Series.

As far as I've heard from most who own one, it is an improvement on the Ares, and the S&T ones. Seems you are speaking about a different gun all together.

No offense but unless you've seen the specific model I am speaking, and have any time with it, I'm not über interested in your condemnation of it.

OEM is a mishmash... Ares/S&T/Umarex clusterfuck.

Sorry it's just if you want to compare it to the original S&T piece of shit from a year or so ago, it's isn't. It's close for obvious reasons, just not the current version hence why I was questioning if you have seen the exact one being discussed in this thread.
