RAP4 Cadpat fusion uniform

I purchased the RAP4 Cadpat fusion uniform with the combat shirt top. I used to have a Cadpat uniform from a Canadian company and my friend has a set from EBairsoft.com(china). Now the canadian set was really dark with muted colors and the chinese set had mostly matching colors to the canadian uniform, but the OD green is really light. The Rap4 uniform is really bright saturated colors. Does anyone have any comparison pictures of real issued cadpat next to rap4. Through searching the internet it appears that the issue cadpat is really bright as well, but im not sure if its just altered photos or the lighting. Im trying to figure out how much different rap4 is from the real deal...now before i get burned for buying rap4 just note the uniform quality style and function is right on par with my USMC Frog combat shirt and my ACU massif combat shirt...the only real big issue is it fades faster.

The RAP4 ones are a little brighter then the issued stuff but its a good match. once you have armour on and all that you wont notice the difference.




Once the RAP4 stuff fades in abit and gets rid of that shiny new look you'll be fine.

thanks viperfish! Yeah it looks like itll fade into a very similar color. The real cadpat looks like the light green is pale in color and the rap4 is almost a lime green. The brown is also very clay colored on rap 4 and the issue cadpat is pinkish in color. All in all though all 3 patterns i have experience with blend in nicely with the florida wooded areas so it doesnt really matter. thanks again!

Hey man, if you dont mind, im thinking about grabbing the uniform from them as well, the top and pants. Would you be able to tell me the quality? Also..I did notice that the sizing seems strange as a medium pants (size 32 waist) comes with a 44 inch pant leg...usually 32 pants have a 30 or 32 inch....im not a bloody giant lol. Did you have to hem the pant legs?

Daishi the overall uniform quality is good. The material is ripstop and its just as strong as any of my high end uniforms...I have no fraying, tears etc. The uniform cut/style is exactly the same as my ACU's. The velcro is attached nicely and is decent quality. The tshirt material on the combat shirt is stretchy and is nice and cool under the gear. The only improvements I would say the uniform needs is the color as you can see above is not exactly matching true CADPAT. Also since the fabric blend isnt the same as high end uniforms it tends to fade faster. I can upload pictures tonight of where I see fading starting. On a positive note though even though the colors are off its still a really great camouflage...I spent a good 20 minutes picking people off on a river bank at my last OP and no one on the other team could spot me. The bright greens match the leaves perfectly. Also its the only decently priced combat shirt in Cadpat colors I can find.

I will check the sizing chart and follow up with you on fitment...I can tell you right now I am 5'11" 188 lbs with a 35" waist and the M combat shirt and M pants fit me perfectly. The pants end at the top of my boot without bunching, but the arms of the jacket are a few inches too long...its an easy fix though I just adjust the velcro cuffs and I have no issues.

I have the RAP4 combat shirt aswell, bought it from Viperfish actually. It's pretty nice piece of kit, a nice budget piece if you aren't already running issue kit or dont want to shell out for a CP gear OTW.

Colorwise how does the RAP 4 compare to CP gear OTW? The RAP 4 colors seem a little bright does anyone know if CP gear is the same?

Only drawback is the Rap4 slowly fades and the white starts to show more in the threads.
