face mask or no?

Haven't been playing that long but I always wear a mesh half mask. Ended up loosing it last week cause I had it push up on top of my hat while pushing through some bushes along a riverbed. Realized afterwards that it had fallen off, was no way I was gonna find it though. Now I'm deciding between another half mesh, or one of the ones built into a balaclava.
