Ebb/aeg and gbbr, are like apples and oranges. They're entirely different animals. Look up some gbbr vs aeg threads.

Depends how deep your pockets are.
GBB are fun, and are more realistic. The gas path can be a tad pricey, because one magazine is $50-80, versus a simple AEG magazine which is a fraction of the cost. Also most gas guns don't preform to well as AEG's in terms of distances and accuracy. They also are affected by temperature. I personally love gas guns for the strong recoil, but after each game you have to clean it out throughly and do regular maintence (If you enjoy cleaning your gun and re-lubing it, etc.) I also enjoy AEG's because where I shoot is where the BB will go, that and also AEG's have the ability to use mid-hi caps for those people who just want to mow you down with 150 rounds per magazines, versus your gas mag of 30-40 rounds. You'll want to look up as Arch stated, AEG vs EBB vs GBB. Each have pro/cons. |

Gas = Fun
AEG = Practical ERG = Fun + Practical but as time progresses, and your pockets get deeper.... AEG + P* = OMGWTFBBQ |
