WA Wilson combat S.C.W w/ broken frame.
One of our guys has a Wilson Combat s.c.w with a cracked frame. he's looking into a metal frame and possibly slide but WGC doen't seem to have what he needs in stock http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...ame%20For%20WA
my question is are any of the other frames (1911A1 or wilson combat s.c.w Ver 2) compatable with this gun or does anyone know where might have the frame above in stock? war 4 has a scw frame instock but it's for 1911's and gvn't would that work? |

As long as the frame is SCW , it should work in his gun. SCW2 frames use a totally different firing pin and you COULD use an SCW2 frame but you'd have to buy a new hammer and firing pin. As far as I know, that's the only difference between SCW and SCW2.. they changed the firing pin. Everything else is identical. I have both versions and I swap parts in and out a lot.
